When Nam and I first decided to explore essential oils as a way to create income, we had no idea it would turn into such an incredible, life-changing journey!
I bought my first dōTERRA kit in June 2018, and from the moment I opened that first bottle, I was all in—learning, experimenting, and seeing firsthand what these oils could do. After an unforgettable aha moment with my own health, I knew I had to share this with others. So, I did what felt natural—I started introducing dōTERRA to my community in Hanoi.
My first essential oil class happened right in my Hanoi café, inviting health coaching clients and café regulars to experience these oils for themselves. One class turned into another, and before I knew it, I was teaching hundreds—right there in my café, in living rooms, on balconies, anywhere people were open to learning. I’ll never forget the look on someone’s face the first time a drop of pure dōTERRA Peppermint hits their hands. It’s magic, every time.
It’s really that simple—use the oils, share them, and teach others to do the same. And when you do that consistently, something incredible happens.
My team grew quickly, and now this community spans countries I’ve lost count of. The ripple effect of sharing something that truly changes lives is more powerful than I ever imagined—all because I said yes to opening that first bottle.
Along the way, I’ve met and partnered with some of the most incredible people, many of whom have become lifelong friends. And now, you’re here. That’s not a coincidence. I have a feeling you’ll find you have a lot in common with me and this community too.

Firstly apply your knowledge and begin to heal yourself, your family and your entire community. After you’ve had a few personal aha moments with your products, you’ll know when the time is right to lean into doTERRA as a business. It’s all around the same time as you feel the need to share your oils with someone, to help soothe their pain. It will feel so natural!

The doTERRA business model is the most brilliant in the world because it places you in a position of authority over your own life. It removes all limitations on you. Your success is entirely up to you. And really when you break it all down it’s all very simple, I use doTERRA products to live a healthy life and I help others learn how to do the same.
Why dōTERRA - Why now?
Right now, more than ever, people are looking for something different—more stability, more freedom, and more control over their health and finances. The past few years have left many questioning how to create a life that’s better prepared for the unexpected.
What I find most exciting is that more people are prioritizing their well-being. We’ve seen firsthand that health isn’t just something to think about when things go wrong—it’s the foundation of everything. And alongside that, there’s a growing desire for time freedom—the ability to work from anywhere, set flexible hours, and spend more quality time with family. I don’t know any parent who wouldn’t want that. The truth is, it doesn’t have to be a dream.
Beyond that, people are craving impact—something meaningful, something that actually makes a difference. I was looking for that too. I wanted to create something of true value, something people would look back on as one of the best decisions they ever made. And that’s exactly what this has become.
