If you want to bun out fast…

If you want to burn out fast in your life, pursue something that you don’t care about.

This is where most people get trapped, they’re living someone else’s life or they are living an unexamined life, floating through their life in automatic. They’ve never taken the time to stop and think about what they really want.

What’s the thing that gives you more energy? What lights you up?

Most people are putting energy into something they actually don’t care about
And this makes them feel like they are lacking motivation.

The top two things that cause decreased motivation are:
Lack of sleep, exercise and nutrition
Pursuing something you don’t care about

Are you getting enough sleep?

Most people’s diet is a mess, their diet causes them to sleep poorly. Many people have terrible sleep hygiene habits, deprioritizing sleep, not exercising and not eating right.

It’s simple really, you’ve got to get the inputs correct first. If you’re not sleeping right, eating right and moving your body right, all the things you know you need to be doing to optimize your body…. It’s little wonder you feel fatigued all the time and demotivated.

Do you care about the thing you pour your time and energy into?

It’s basic really… you NEED to be living the life you want to live. Not living the life people are telling you to live. A life that gives you more energy than it takes from you.

Optimize your body - through sleep, exercise and nutrition.

Go try a bunch of things, and see which ones you are into, once you’ve sampled them widely, then you can begin to narrow your focus to find your passion.

And to wrap it up…
Get your mind right, push yourself, hold yourself accountable, hold yourself to a high standard and make sure you are doing something that you care about.
