It's been a FULL, almost three months of solid travel

It's been a FULL, almost three months of solid travel. I've made it back to my home base, Hanoi Vietnam. For the moment anyway, before I head out again in early June with a very special trip to Nepal for Wintergreen essential oil sourcing.

This next trip is very near and dear to my heart as I lived, for 12 years, in a place called Sapa in Lào Cai Province, northwest Vietnam, 380 km northwest of Hanoi close to the border with China. The Hoàng Liên Son range of mountains dominates the district, which is at the eastern extremity of the Himalayas. And this is where I learnt how to distill pure essential oils, with Ta May, a local Red Dzao lady.

So I am sitting here, back home in Hanoi, like I said, absorbing the enormity of the past three months and thinking about the growth I went through. It's important to lean into new experiences that challenge you to get a bit uncomfortable and ultimately make you grow. And there's no better way to do that than with your growth buddies.

I am always so incredibly grateful to Victoria and David for their unwavering support. The expression ‘Thank you’ never seems to sound enough, however, you know how I feel about you both.
